Drone Delivery Canada ‘DDC or the Company’ (CSE:FLT), is pleased to announce it has entered into a partnership with Peel Regional Paramedic Services to develop the first-of-a-kind AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) delivery by drone program for the Region of Peel.

“We are delighted to be working with the Region of Peel,” commented Tony Di Benedetto, CEO of Drone Delivery Canada. “We are the only drone delivery company in Canada to successfully test and achieve Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) testing. With this achievement, now, more than ever, we are ready to explore how our technology could augment Peel Regional Paramedic Services’ AED program. Corporately, as we move to the second half of the year, we are focusing on multiple business verticals that include government and large multinational companies. This is not only game changing for us but also for our customers as end users of our proprietary drone delivery platform as we move closer to commercialization and licensing with a broad spectrum of users.”

The Region of Peel works with residents and partners to create a healthy, safe and connected community for life for more than 1.4 million people and approximately 143,000 businesses in the cities of Brampton and Mississauga and the Town of Caledon. At peak times, paramedics in 55 ambulances and eight Rapid Response Units cover 1,225 square kilometers in Peel.

DDC will work directly with Peel Regional Paramedic Services to design, prototype and test an AED drone delivery solution using Drone Delivery Canada’s logistic platform. Development, prototyping and testing initiatives will be funded by DDC and predominantly focused on a customized solution that includes a depot to depot emergency response solution.  DDC will own all intellectual property developed.
