NuRAN Selected by NASA to Supply SDR and Corporate Update #CSE $NUR

NuRAN Wireless Inc. (“NuRAN Wireless” or the “Company”) (CSE:NUR)(CSE:NUR.CN)(CNSX:NUR)(OTC PINK:NRRWF) is proud to announce it has been selected to supply a newly developed software-defined radio (“SDR”) to NASA’s Glenn Research Center. This new SDR is designed specifically for research on multi-element arrays and overcomes one of the major technological barriers with SDR so far by supporting a very high number of antennas while maintaining phase coherency between them; a real breakthrough. As a result of the company’s commitment to innovation, NuRAN Wireless is proudly joining General Dynamics, Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and Harris Corporation as a supplier of software defined radios to NASA.

NASA Glenn Research Center is one of ten major NASA field centers. Recently, the Center has been working with software-defined radio (SDR) developing technology for use in aeronautics and space. One of NASA’s notable endeavors is the SCAN Testbed, a SDR-based reconfigurable on-orbit Communications, Navigation, and Networking system. At the core of the SCAN Testbed are software-defined radios (SDRs).

“Being selected by NASA is further validation of the quality of talent and work that we have developed at NuRAN Wireless and Nutaq Innovations, our wholly owned engineering subsidiary. We continue to push the envelope by partnering with top tier companies around the world while maintaining our core focus on democratising access to mobile connectivity for the unconnected,” states Martin Bedard, Co-CEO at NuRAN Wireless Inc.

Software-Defined Radio is used to describe a radio transmitting/receiving hardware that is reconfigurable. Software-defined radio have significant utility for military and mobile (cell phone) applications, both of which must serve a wide variety of evolving radio protocols in real time.

Enforcer Gold Commences Ground IP Survey At The Montalembert Gold Project #TSXV $VEIN

Enforcer Gold Corp (“Enforcer” or the “Company”) (TSX-V: VEIN – FSE: N071) along with Globex Mining Enterprises Inc. (TSX: GMX) is pleased to announce it has commenced its ground Induced Polarization (“IP”) geophysical survey at the Montalembert gold project. The 45 line-km survey will cover an approximately 1.5 x 1.5 km area over the main vein occurrences (Galena Vein & No. 2 Vein) located in the southernmost portion of the property. Géophysique TMC of Val-d’Or QC has been contracted to complete the survey and provide a 3D model, vertical sections and geophysical interpretation.

IP is one of the most useful geophysical methods in mineral exploration due to its ability to detect and characterize sub-surface disseminated mineralization and quartz. The silicified and quartz-bearing shear zones at Montalembert host 1-5% disseminated pyrite and/or pyrrhotite with trace amounts of chalcopyrite, galena and free gold. With IP, high resistivity anomalies can correspond to quartz concentrations while the relatively high IP chargeability anomalies may correspond with sulphide ± gold concentrations in the quartz veins. IP can be particularly useful in mapping the extension of a conductive mineralized zone under overburden cover, making it a valuable tool to aid in drill targeting.

In March 2017, a one-kilometre test line of IP was completed over the main vein occurrences with positive results. The 45 line-km survey is expected to be completed within three weeks of commencement and ahead of the start of diamond drilling.

Deveron’s Canada-wide drone data ambitions starting to take flight #CSE $DVR

Through a series of small but decisive steps taken over the past 18 months, Deveron UAS Corp., a drone data services company that focuses on the agriculture sector, is slowly taking flight.

The latest development in that steady build came Monday when Deveron announced that it had been given the green light by the Minister of Transport to operate across Canada.

Prior to this, Deveron, which started life in 2012 as Deveron Resources and whose major shareholder is Greencastle Resources, had received government approval to operate in three additional provinces, Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan, alongside its home base of Ontario.

“With national compliance, we have the ability to fly anywhere under one area of interest. It makes things easier for us as we scale (up) and talk to nationally-based agricultural providers,” said David MacMillan, chief executive. Accordingly, because the firm’s clients have a national perspective, the new licence allows Deveron to adopt a national approach to its business.

“We are excited about (the business) because the data we generate produces intelligence that can help farmers increase yields and reduce costs,” benefits he argues the farmers can achieve through variable rate application, a technique that allows resources (including additional seed or fertilizer) to be applied to areas with the greatest need.
